Welcome to FoxCleaner! Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect information when you download, install, access, or use the FoxCleaner application (the "App").
Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to our data practices as described below.

1.1 Information You Provide (Required for Functionality):
Contact Details (Optional): When you contact us via in-app support, contact forms, or email (e.g., for assistance or refund requests), we may collect your name, email address, and message content.
Subscription Details (Optional): If you need help canceling a subscription purchased through an app store, we may request your purchase-registered email, order number, or invoice number (solely to verify ownership and process your request).
1.2 Automatically Collected Technical Data:
Device Information: Device type (phone/tablet), OS version, model, manufacturer, screen specs, and identifiers (e.g., IDFA/IDFV for analytics – not used for personal identification).
Usage Data: IP address (approximate location), network type, app version, API keys, session timestamps, usage duration, in-app interactions (e.g., button clicks, feature usage), and events (e.g., tutorial completion, upgrades, purchases – used to improve functionality).
Log Files: App access, installation, and error logs (for diagnostics, security, and service enhancement).
Ad Engagement (If Applicable): Ad display/click times, content type, placement, and conversions (to measure ad performance).
1.3 App Permission-Based Data (Processed Locally, Not Uploaded):
Storage Permission: Scans device storage to identify junk files, caches, and duplicate photos (via hash/metadata comparison) for cleanup. We never access personal documents, passwords, or highly sensitive content.
Media Metadata: With your consent, accesses photo/video metadata (e.g., dimensions, creation date, duration) locally to identify duplicates or compress videos. Original media files are never uploaded or stored on our servers.
We use your information solely for:
Service Delivery: Performing requested functions (cleanup, duplicate detection, video compression – all on-device), and processing support/subscription requests.
App Improvement: Analyzing aggregated/anonymized usage data, diagnosing crashes, testing features, and optimizing performance.
Communication: Responding to inquiries, sending service-related notices (e.g., updates, security alerts), and (with consent) promotional messages (opt-out available).
Security & Compliance: Preventing fraud/abuse, enforcing terms, and meeting legal obligations (e.g., tax/audit requirements).
Advertising & Analytics (If Applicable): Measuring ad effectiveness and serving relevant ads (opt-out instructions in "Your Choices").
● Your Data Stays Local: Scanned files, photos, and videos remain only on your device or linked iCloud account. We cannot access them. Cleanup operations occur entirely on-device.

Service Providers: Trusted partners (e.g., analytics/ad platforms, payment processors like Apple, support tools) receive minimal necessary data under strict confidentiality agreements.
Automated Tools: Analytics/ad providers may automatically receive technical data (device ID, IP, usage events). We don’t control their data collection – review their policies.
Legal Requirements: Information may be disclosed to comply with laws, government requests, or protect rights/safety.
Business Transfers: Data may be transferred during mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales. You’ll be notified of significant changes.

We never sell your personal information.
We never share original photos, videos, or documents.
Core cleanup functions never rely on cloud servers to collect your files.
We never intentionally access private documents, passwords, contacts, or messages.
We never collect payment details – all purchases are handled by Apple App Store.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
FoxCleaner serves users globally. Data may be processed in countries with different data protection laws (e.g., outside the EU/EEA/UK). We use legal mechanisms like Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure adequate safeguards.
We retain personal information only as necessary:
Support/account data: Up to 1 year after request resolution or account closure.
Technical logs/analytics: Anonymized or deleted periodically.
Legal/compliance data: Retained as required by law or legitimate needs.
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may:
Access/Correct your personal information.
Request Deletion (where legally permissible).
Restrict Processing.
Data Portability.
Object to Processing (e.g., for marketing analytics).

Opt Out of Personalized Ads:
iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track" or manage app permissions.

Manage App Permissions: Adjust storage/photo access via Settings > Privacy & Security on iOS. Revoking permissions may limit functionality.
Control Deletions: All deletions require explicit confirmation in-app.

FoxCleaner is not intended for children (typically under 16, subject to local laws). We don’t knowingly collect their data. Parents/guardians: Contact us immediately if a child has shared information without consent – we’ll promptly delete it.
We may revise this policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The updated version, with a new effective date, will be posted in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
